F55 Mini 1.5 reliability

Hi folks,
Considering getting a 14/15 plate 1.5 Cooper as a run around - are these broadly considered reliable? Any common issues?

Mine has been trouble free and uses no oil . no rattles .Its five years old and is quicker than the 1.6 Its only a second slower than the old cooper s. My last mini 1.6 had timing chain rattle at same mileage. The 1.5 sounds like a sewing machine still. Tip though when changing the oil they don't like oil with additives only seem to like the mini oil . Additives seem to make this engine burn oil . Mini do say in their online manual /hint no additives. I am on my third mini and this 1.5 is the best yet
