GP2 Service Intervals

Hi all - I’ve got a I’ve GP2 which I had anticipated needing a service around now. The last one was just under 2 years ago and as the car is doing fairly low annual mileage the OBC alert for this hasn’t triggered.

Am I right in saying I should put this in for a service at Mini, as they do ‘inspection based’ servicing?

The last service was spark plugs, oil and micro-filter. It’s had a brake fluid change since then as well (last year).

I want to preserve the ‘FSH’ aspect but don’t want to waste time / money if it’s unneeded. I recall my prior car (also BMW) was mileage based, or two years if sooner.

How many miles have you done since the last service? Either way I'd get an oil change service at the 2 year mark to keep the service history up to scratch. Its only about 140 quid for an oil and microfilter service at a MINI main dealer.

Thanks - I gave the local dealer a call and they were able to pull service history etc. Got it booked in for oil plus a few other bits for next week. Price doesn’t seem too bad considering it’s a main dealer, but we will see!!
