How many miles do you usually get out of your front tyres?

I will admit that I really fancied doing that myself and swap them front to back. I'm now going to have PS4 on the front and Primacy on the rear, and I don't like having different tyres(at least they are the same brand though) on a car. Whereas if I'd done the front to back swap I could have possibly swapped all 4 at the same time. Just to update this. I am so impressed with the Michelin PS4 in comparison to the Primacy and it is night and day. The Primacy would spin up at almost any opportunity, whereas the PS4 just grip and get on with it. So anyone with Michelin Primacy I'd take the opportunity of swapping to the Michelin PS4 when you can for sure.
Hi, I also have Michelin Pilot Sport 4 on the front now (replacing Michelin Pilot Super Sports). They seem to be just as good as the MPSS, which is to say fantastic. Perhaps also better in the wet - I seem to be getting much more of the 280 lb-ft down now in the wet. Perhaps it was just the tread depth on the old tyres and the new power that was causing the problem.
I found the MPSS were really good as far as wear goes. I don't have exact figures on miles but it has to be ~20k which is great for a reasonably powerful FWD car. Maybe my right foot isn't heavy enough, though I don't think that is the case... Hopefully the new Michelins will be just as good.
I used to get 7-9k miles with an RS Turbo and I deemed that rather poor (Yokohama A008). Maybe they were very soft with good grip back in the day.

Thanks. I have them on my 370Z and I really rate them, but on the Mini they seem even better to me because the previous Primacy 3's were so poor. It is great now that I can put my foot down in the Mini and it actually puts the power down cleanly.
I can't believe the difference between two different tyres that come from the same manufacturer. The Primacy 3 is such a poor tyre imo, whereas I can't fault the PS4 at all.

The rears on my XFR-S did 22k on the last set after p-zeros only managed 8k.

I'm still at that stage where I'm being a bit more cautious on the new tyres(not wanting to wear them down too quickly), but I'm sure that it won't be that long before I'm working them really hard again though.
Blimey you must drive it hard.
I only have a Mini one on 16" alloys, the car is used for teaching, so now and again get a wee bit of wheel spin, and do loads of emergency stops, so loads of ABS skidding.
Even so I still get between 20-30k out of my Michelin "energy savers"
I couldn't afford to do my job if I wore tyres that quickly

Apart from my old S14a 200SX(because I couldn't resist going sideways in it most of the time!), the Cooper S has been the worst car I've had for quick tyre wear for sure(well the fronts anyway). I do have some very quiet and lovely country roads right on my doorstep, so I do enjoy pushing it a fair bit every now and then.
You've done brilliant to get that mileage out of them. It will be interesting to see how long my rear tyres last, because they still have 5mm on them and I'm up to 18k miles with those now.
The rears seem to last 'forever'. I'll need to replace my MPSS rears due to age rather than wear when they start to crack / go hard. I'll replace with MPS4 to match the new fronts. Great tyres altogether.

I've not pushed it on yet but they feel reasonably sticky to the touch and surel are better than the hard nasty Continentals that came off it. They were quite a bit cheaper than Michilins, but she doesn't tend to drive it on the door handles so much these days so I figured a reasonable compromise.
