I bought the car with 200 miles on the clock. Turns out Mini UK as the previous owner had used it for sales people to test the new 306 JCW and it had been involved in a serious crash. Car had a resprayed roof with fish eyes, runs and overspray, bonnet replaced, front end repair, bent chassis, significant wind noise on the drivers side which I assume was part of the chassis issue and a Twist in the roof that was part of the chassis being bent. Had no issue rejecting the car and was told Mini wanted the car back to examine how something so bad was put into the dealer network. 2 weeks after return it was up for sale again at the same dealer. No one should have been allowed to buy that car without full knowledge and I am not sure what paint warranty you will ne left with for the future.

What price did thay have it up for second time around? Would it reflect that it was accident repaired? I always thought that if there is a crease in the roof it is automatically a write off.

£2.5k more than I paid for it !! I had the car inspected then rejected and no fight put up after Mini UK confirmed it had been in an accident, lost all respect for Mini given their shocking behaviour. I emailed most of senior management and not one could even reply or say sorry.
