F56 cooper - what's this?

Recently picked up a 2014 cooper for the O/H and noticed something missing on the interior. It's where the grab handle would go but looks a different shape and size to the passenger side. Google had resulted in a blank. I'm looking to replace whatever it is but have no clue. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm sure the was an optional side sunvisor for the UK MINI's. Looks like yours has gone.

They never fitted drivers side grab handles on UK cars.
