Central locking woes

Bought an R50 One as a cheap runabout with a few little issues one of which being the car won’t lock.

Searching online I find many examples of one door not locking but nothing like what mine is doing.

If I try to lock the car either with the dash switch or the key in the door (remote buttons on the key are knackered) only the drivers door will lock. Boot and passenger door do nothing. If I manually lock the passenger door (i.e push the pin down) and unlock it either using door lock or dash switch then the car unlocks fine.
I could get round this but obviously I can’t lock the boot which is annoying.

Any ideas/anyone had this issue before?
