1.2 any good?

I'm thinking of buying a Mini 1.2 for my wife and daughter to use. They enjoy driving but are not speed freaks. Can anyone please advise whether they are any good? What is the economy and reliability like? Do they have decent ride comfort? I'd appreciate any feedback.

Sorry to bump for personal use, but just about to do the same. Looking at around the 15 plate area,1.2 one, any commons to look for, how are these 3 pots. What spec/upgrades are worth having which obviously impact on different prices, don't really understand all the different chilli/pepper/excitement/ etc. packs. Any tips gratefully received, Cheers.

Not driven the 1.2, but had a 1.5 3 pot for a while and loved it. Quick, frugal, and sounded ok.

Chilli, Pepper, etc just relate to the packs sold with the car. Chilli has more kit as standard than the pepper version so aim for a chilli one if you can. Many of the minis where individually spec’d by owners so you will need to check which options where selected.

Have a look on Parker’s for the review of the car. They tend to give a good indication on what was contained in each pack.

Its a shared lump with psa ive had a few autos as loan cars its not a bad little package
