Timing chain r56 maintenance

Hi all I bought a 57 plate 1.4 mini last year. It has only got 29000 miles on it and it drives perfectly. Just wondering if there is a time limit or mileage for the timing chain and how to maintain it as previously had a seat Ibiza with timing belt. Thanks

They are maintenance free, just change the oil every 12 months or 10k and use the correct oil of good quality.

Above all keep a very close eye on oil level/usage/top ups as (anecdotally at least) it is likely to be low oil levels that cause the tensioner issues.
