There's probably an easy answer to this but, if you put the keys in the boot, and shut the lid, you can't open the boot to retrieve them.....

Haven't done it but Wife questioned this today and it's like my TVR, slam the lid down with the keys in the boot and your buggered.

If the car is unlocked then you can open the boot, if you open the boot on the key fob button and close the boot with the keys in it then you are taking a breadknife to the roof.

Thanks Steve, she hasn't done it and I think she now knows. not sure if she'd unlocked the car first. Will try that.

Yes, there is on the Chimaera as well, apparently. Never needed it, yet, as I am ultra careful, check keys before I slam the lid. Even with the "secret" way in will be a bit embarrassing and messy if you've just put ice cream in the boot on a hot day.....
