Hi all,

Will be changing my HPFP this afternoon but need to drive the car approx 1 mile to get some driveway space to work.

What's the best way to depressurize the system again (if at all) I could probably leave it 30 mins then open the high pressure line with a cloth around it but I'm not sure if that's an awful idea... I imagine the pump may lose pressure quickly anyway as it's knackered!

When I did my R55 HPFP, I parked up, made a cup of tea... drunk the tea and all the pressure had gone.
Just have a rag in your hand, it's a nice easy job.

Rightttt... Changed the pump and all good, running a lot better but not perfect. Checking rail pressure it's reading 680-730 psi, would the in tank pump be the problem then?
