Tyre choice for Clubman Cooper SD F54

I have just bought an F54 Clubman SD on 18” wheels with Pirelli P7 run flats.
Traction isn’t great and the car doesn’t give me as much confidence on turn in as my previous Golf GTD on Michelin ps 4.
What tyres are you using and have you ditched run flats?
What tyre life are you getting on fronts ?

Looks like they have ditched the run flats as our Clubman was fitted with pilot sports also have them on the Audi and cannot fault them, only issue you may have is some garages can be funny about changing to non run flats if that’s the way you want to go.

I’m a big fan of Dunlop Sport Maxx on my 5 door.

Swapped the runflats for Pilot Sports on my R60 Countryman Cooper S. They inspire more confidence, are less crashy and don't tramline. Not had them on long enough to have a view on wear.
