Has anyone managed to retrofit CarPlay To a non nav (Visual Boost) radio?

Searching I have come across this

I’m looking into the same thing. Only think I have come across so far is a company called Bimmer. There’s not much out there that fills you with confidence!

yup, nothing like from the VAG side with lots of reputable company doing retrofit stuff,

I guess Vw largely have double din units which offer an easier upgrade path than a circle!

Wondering if buying a 2nd hand CarPlay head unit allows you to “plug and play”?

Surely someone on here has researched/ achieved something somehow...
