I am in the market for a convertable.

I have had many MX5s but fancy somit different

Was at my local BMW dealer looking at the Minis out of curiosity

They have a silver grey roadster Cooper with 36k miles, leather seats and chilli pack. Price is £7500

This is in my price range and being a BMW owner like the brand including getting 12m warranty

What concerns me, and sorry for saying this, is this a guys car or more of a girls car?

What things do i need to be aware of when buying

I'd say go and drive it, see what you think. Probably no more of a girls car than any other.

Personally I've never totally got the R59 or R58, then again with 2 kids I need 4 seats. I don't get Paceman either, which has 4 seats... doh! But they are quite rare on the roads, which might appeal to you.

I have the R58 coupe and I've kept it much longer than expected as I enjoy i so much. It's great as the boot is much bigger than the hatch. Some don't like the syling, but I think they look pretty good.

You'll want a red JCW one though :-)
