Just single speed fan but only 1 relay in the relay box in the engine bay. Should it have 2? Can someone check a 2009 1.4 mini one?

Hey,

I’ve got a 2009 Mini One 1.4

Send me a picture of what you want me to look for and I’ll do it. Alternatively, will a photo of the relays suffice?

That link is for the F56 (I.e new shape) not the R56 which is the 2009?

I agree entirely. Unfortunately complex is required for lots of the functions on cars that people have come to expect. In fairness to BMW, the complex version is probably a huge improvement on the constantly failing 2 speed fan system of the early models.
