R56 Mini Cooper - What to look out for?

I’m thinning of getting a Mini Cooper R56 as a little run around car. Is there any common faults or things to look out for when buying second hand? Budget is around 3.5k so will be looking at a motor with 60-70,000 miles on the clock.

Is it the Cooper S or regular 1.6 Cooper?

Broken or seized bonnet cable.
Noisy cam chain.
Faulty TPMS.
Small, but annoying, thing - dry/broken joint on AUX socket. Such pain on my wife's R56.
