F56 Cooper S Remap Options.... Track Day Safe?
Discussion
Hi all,
I’ve owned my F56 Cooper S for a year now, it’s starting to feel a little slow... Warranty expires in August so have been looking at a remap.
Been looking at Mulgari who offer an extra 40bhp. Taking it to approx 240-250bhp from a Stage 1 for £500. Evolve offer 290bhp from Stage 1 but I would be nervous of pushing the engine over its limits (she’s a 2014 with 75000 Miles)
I tend to do a track day once or twice a year, normally in February and November. I’ve read a couple of places say if you intend to take the car on track you should go Stage 2 as it includes in Intercooler etc and puts less strain on the engine.
Anyone with a F Series Mini had a remap or got any advice? Have you tracked your Stage 1?
Thanks
