Looking for some new tyres on the front of my girlfriend's r56 Cooper S, currently has P Zero runflats all round which are cack IMO, inner edge seems to have worn a little more than the outer is this normal?

Anyway the considerations are Rainsport 3s, good all-round tyre but perhaps a bit soft in the sidewall for a mini?

Alternatively the Kumho PS71 seems good, lohen sell them and reviews seem good, B rated in the wet for all that matters.

Any opinions? Looks for around £70-80 per tyre fitted ideally, Michelins are a bit pricey for the milage the car does.

Are you a member at Costco? I’m getting four PS3’s fitted to my S3, 225/40/18 tonight for £260. Was the same for Primacy 4’s. £330 for PS4’s.

That's a bargain for 18s to be fair but it works out around £90 per tyre including fitting for 17s, they seems to be a bit of an odd size.

One of the best tyres out there for a little over £81.

I do rate Goodyear's and have had a few sets, 90 quid a tyre is pushing the budget a bit though, just don't the chain, fuel pump and MOT...

@Darren93, these two resources are useful:

There are 93 summer tyres in your size, ranging from £36 to £195.

Just in case you're not aware, new tyres always go on the rear of the car and the older ones are moved to the front. Never put new tyres on the front unless you're also buying new rear tyres at the same time.
