Security wheel bolts

Help, please. 2016 Cooper needs new tyres. The security wheel bolts would not come off. Got a new ‘key’ from dealer but one is still stubborn. The special key just twists off. How night I remove this recalcitrant bolt?

You need to ring around your local fast fit tyre places, many have exactly the right tools to do this & don't charge much.

Much better than trying to do it yourself & hashing up your nice wheels.

Thanks. I shall try some of those. It was, however, a tyre depot which first came upon the problem

You pay the money, you take your choice.

Unfortunately it is VERY likely that, that is the first wheel they did & they did it with their windy gun by not checking it was fully engaged first, but they will never admit it, even if they did do it.

Same happened to me, took the car to mini and bought a new set of bolts, one of the technicians got the old bolts out and swapped in the new set while I waited. Result.
