Sorry mean Tritec but can edit title.... drat

Anyone got any real hands on experience with tuning these? Thinking the usual stuff and more, bigger injectors, cam, beehives, spot of time on the flow bench, steel rods etc and arp bolts and studs. Crank balance and lighter flywheel.

I would appreciate comments from experience based on results, even better if you have built one yourself.

I am usually spannering in the TVR six cylinder section, just getting lured into tracking one of these.

Cheers,

J

Ask the same question on Minitorque.com, you will get lots of answers from many that have got SERIOUS power from this engine.

I'll just leave this here. I'm a payer rather than a doer - but only because if I tried to achieve what I have paid others to do on my behalf, I would've died in a massive fireball by now.

Go and speak to 1320 MINI. If you can't get through on the phone, keep trying. You won't regret it

or similar crap driving clips on CarsOrBikes

1320 I use to map ByteTroniK software only and the dyno, they know a load more about stuff than most and are 1/4 mile driven.

I do all mechanical work on mine and others bar sublet alignment or box builds although I supply internals (final drives, gearsets, MFactory Competition Products, diffs), and suspension (YCW+), and Newman Cams or have Kent cams, or Catcams also available. Newman official supplier and installer etc.

MT is the most active forum albeit a little samey in some regards.

I have some used parts for sale occasionally, cams, heads, diffs and 'stuff', currently a Lohen BVH (ex & in) No.2 helicoiled plus new seals, JCW head, MCS head, Quaife ATB diff, Kent EW02 (Exclusive workshops) billet cam (230whp+), GTT alloy flywheel (light clip debris rash), LUK cover (light clip debris rash), Helix sprung disc. Catcam 1302469 Sport cam (233whp), Supertech beehive springs and ti caps also possibly available etc.

Thanks for mention ;O)
