MINI F57 rollover protection system bars reseting
Discussion
Hello,
i got MINI R57 rollover protection bars popped out due to slight damage in the rear boot lid. NO airbag or any other damage. Car is fine.
Been to MINI dealers they told me there is 20 min procedure 2 man job to do it with a special tool or screwdriver. that tool cost alot of money , so they not gonna order it, and they not working on accident damaged cars, coz they never done it before. So i am left with no help whatsoever. Does anyone had similar problems pushing them bars down ? please help

Looks like screwdriver isn't all that special.
"Resetting the Roll Bar:
Remove plastic plug from top of roll bar tower on left and right of trunk.
Insert two screwdrivers, one on each side, into holes and press down on ratcheting lever.
Push down on roll bar until it locks in place."
