2004 glovebox

The glovebox on my daughters 2004 mini One doesnt stay closed - when I look at the catch (ie the handle) workings it looks like there is nothing there to actually grab the 'hook or bar' when closing - does anyone by any chance have a photo they could post of the inside view of the catch part of their glovebox lid? I am trying to work out if I am having a daft moment or there is genuinely something missing :-
