Goodbye R53

After a run in with a deer on the way home from work a few weeks ago my R53 has been written off! Bonnet, headlight, bumper, air scoop were lunched, and the bonnet was displaced quite a way so likely some damage to the bonnet hinge too.

It’s not all bad news though, I was selling it anyway and was days away from giving it a thorough clean and prepping it for sale, and the insurers have given me there or there abouts what autotrader suggested listing it for.

So my time in an R53 has come to an end, and it’s been replaced with a Land Rover, couldn’t really be more different!

Not interested in buying it back as salvage? I bet they wouldn’t want a lot for it

Not really no, don’t really have the time or space to do anything with it, and it had already been moved onto a salvage place by the time I got notification it was written off!
