Hi, my daughters mini needs new front discs and pads, when I look on eurocarparts, there are 3 sizes of discs, anyone know which ones are fitted to the copper diesel?

She is in oxford and bringing car home at Christmas to get them fitted, so can't measure them until then, wanted to order this week

Many thanks

1. There are only 2 sizes, 1 is for the rear.

2. 280 or 294mm diameter, Realoem.com suggests 280 but I did guess 280 but double check as I guessed the month of production, you may need this as it could be significant.

3. Can she operate a ruler to confirm.

Ok thanks for reply, it's a July 2007 registered, so I will go with the 280mm discs

It's got steel wheels with winter tyres so not easy to see the discs, also trying to explain to her what to measure would be a challellnge😉

If you can get her to check the data plate it will give you the build year & month just in case.

It either on the one in the engine bay or on the B-pillar (possibly both) not sure.

All R56s of your generarion (Gen2) have 280mm discs. Except for the R56 S which has 294mm discs. The calipers are identical non S to S. But the R56 S carriers are different ..... to accomodate the larger size disc.
So your 2007 will have 280mm. Putting the 294mm on yours isn't an option as it stands.
I am an R53 owner (obviously). Only reason I know this is because I researched the fitting of the R56 S calipers and carriers to my R53 S. Which I did some time ago. The standard disc size on R53s is 276mm and they are just not up to it.
For the Mr Pickies: Yes, the JCW R53 discs are 294mm as well. Albeit they are different calipers and carriers to the R56 S ones.
