Help! Knocking sound in my mini cooper d camden

Hi!
Wondering if anyone can help - my 2010 cooper d camden edition is making a weird knocking/rattling sound when i hit about 1500rpm - can faintly hear it on engine start up but other than that it's only at 1500rpm
