JCW is dead.

Just been looking on the Mini site and it appears the JCW Model with more power is no more. Instead you have the JCW Pack which has a few cosmetic additions which you add to your chosen model. I guess its fallen foul of the WLTP testing. Could be good new for owners of the current car if it doesn't resurface.

I think the JCW loss on the configurator is a temporary situation whilst they sort the emissions regs that are coming in. I can't believe they'll drop the model, though you just can't order it currently and they'll probably not accept orders now until they have a timeline for delivery of cars which meet the new regs - there are some pre-reg cars at dealers with good discounts though they'll get snapped up fairly quickly.

I got one of the last built in June 18 was told back then no new cars until March 19 and with the new particulate filter on all new petrol cars from September power maybe down if and when built.
With Minis future models uncertain and new emissions regs and further new regs in 2020/21 there maybe no new JCW as we know it !
