Hi
Can anyone help me or had the same issue with how to display the average fuel economy figures on the dashboard?
I have a 2014 SD (143) with all 4 & an automatic gearbox! I have followed all the owner manual instructions & even took it to a small local mini specialist, who have never seen this issue before

Usually its press the BC button on the left hand stalk until its displayed in the centre.

Yes this is the problem. This figure doesn't show up on the LED display.
I have gone into the radio settings & they are all correct

My Wife’s previous Countryman had exactly the same as you describe. As it turns out hers didn’t have the Chilli pack which had the MPG option within the trip computer. Suspect yours may be the same?
