TPMS false warning alert?
Discussion
Anyone had this before? Our F56 MINI flagged up a slightly low warning today, but when I checked all the tyres were reading correctly.
I've reset the system, but not sure what else to do? (it's my wife's car so if she gets a flat on her way to work tomorrow morning I'll never hear the end of it )

My ford and volvo have done this, sometimes its a red herring. With my ford, it did it once, then once again a few days later, before getting stuck on
It was a pain as I had a puncture a week before and was on holiday with 4 kids and the car had no spare wheel
Plugged into diagnostics at Ford and they diagnosed faulty sensor, replaced for £30

Is the Mini system direct or indirect? (ie direct = sensors in the tyres, indirect = ABS sensors + maths)
Direct systems don't generally do intermittent fails. When a sensor fails it fails. Usually battery power but can be electronic component failure.
Indirect systems can give occasional false readings from asymmetrically worn tyres or transient events like wheels spinning, bumps in the road.
