On Saturday we took delivery of our new Countryman.
Just a standard Cooper with a few bits added.
So far I am genuinely surprised at how big the interior of this car is. We traded in a Range Rover Sport and I don't feel we've comprised on cabin space at all (load space is a different matter, we'll just have to pack lighter for our road trips).
It's not fast, but it's nippy, and more than enough fun to keep me grinning.
I know the looks are, uh-hum, challenging, but I am growing rather fond of it's unique awkwardness.
It'll be interesting to see if we miss the RR as time goes by - anyway, I'm off for a drive!

Mrs Ralph has the Countryman SD All4. It's not the fastest, prettiest or most nimble vehicle on the road but massively practical. I call it the donkey because you can load it up with pretty much anything you like and it just gets there come sun or snow.
It will be more reliable than your RR.
