Clutch feel F56 2014 plate - Cooper S

We have a 14 plate Mini Cooper S that has a very short clutch feel/bite.
Eventually got the dealership to say that the crankshaft bearing recall might have changed clutch feel.
Anyone else experienced this on the early F56 cars? To the point i’d Mill changing the car.
Either a later F56 Cooper S / JCW or go Audi S1.
