My Cooper S is on 17”s with adaptive camping. The car rides well. But the wheels look quite in board of the body. Spacers of 12mm front and 15mm rear seem, from the pics I’ve seen, to correct this. However, I’m loathe to risk messing up the ride/handling just to gain aethestocally. So, two questions - Are spacers considered to compromise handling? I don’t want to lower the car( though doubtless it would LOOK better) Secondly would the car look ‘odd’ with spacers but NOT lowered?
