F56 Fuel Flap Doesn’t lock

Just noticed that when my MCS is locked, the fuel flap is still unlocked. Should it lock ? 2015 model year

Yes, it should lock/unlock with the central locking.

The locking tab on the fuel cap door snaps really easily, especially in cold weather.

I've been meaning to fit a new one on mine for months but it doesn't tend to blow open as long as you position the wire correctly.

I thought the same but if you lock the car on central locking it locks the flap

Sadly door lock, hatch locks. Fuel flap doesn’t.
