Mini Cooper S tyres

Good morning

My wife has 09 plate cooper S

Currently 2 run flats on the front normal tyres on the back
Needs a couple of tyres and the other two getting ready so going to replace all 4

Run flats or non run flats? Any suggestions, issues going either way.

We have other cars so it’s only normally used locally, so happy to have a spare wheel in the garage for emergencies……… and a can of what ever in the boot.

Rainsport 3's on all 4 corners, forget runflats.

Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s all round here, having ditched the awful previous runflats.

The problem with minis is there is actually not very much suspension travel, so run-flats just feel/grip poorly.

Go for the best tyre you can in non-RFT.

Typically Conti S/C or P/C 5 or 6, Goodyear F1 Assy 3, Michelin PS4 are all excellent choices.

Do a bit of research on tyrereviews.com & find good ones in your size & you won't regret it.
