Hi all,

Local dealer has been chasing a rattle on the front end of my car for months, it was finally resolved by replacing the discs and pads under warranty - didn't get much more info than that however the noise is now gone.

Since getting the car back a month or so ago I'm fairly sure the front right droplink is knackered. Possibly due to the amount of times its has been stripped as the dealer's fitted a new steering rack, new caliper carriers, new calipers, and anti roll bar to try and resolve the previous noise.

The new noise is literally just a 'clunk' when the front right wheel drops down, usually when passing from one section of road to a lower section, or hitting a drain cover. I've had this on previous cars and replacing the drop links sorted it out, so I decided to try and order some for the F56...

Might be a silly question but I can't find them anywhere, Euros, Ebay, nowhere seem's to have any. Does the F56 use a different suspension setup which doesn't use traditional drop links?

I'm trying to avoid going to the dealers to be honest, recent issues have turned the relationship sour and I stated I wouldn't be back... boxedin

Sounds like you've been through a real pain - can't believe they replaced all that before trying discs and pads.

Have you tried using http://www.realoem.com/ to work out the part numbers, then just searching for those?

I've checked RealOEM as well unfortunately - I should have mentioned previously. Checked the front axle section as well as suspension but there's no droplinks listed. Just had a root around again trying the other sections but can't see anything.

Thanks though!

Edit: Wasn't looking properly, have the part number now. Will have a search elsewhere. Cheers!

For anyone who interested, it's listed as a 'Swing Support' rather than a droplink.
