Changing the auto aircon unit from grey to black

Hi,

Has anyone either changed the auto aircon unit from grey to black or know if it would be possible to fit a black on from a later model as below. Maybe the switches can be replaced?

The below is for a different newer model and wondered if they are a direct swap to the later year model or not regarding wiring etc?

Those are different. The grey one is the manual air-conditioning, the black is the auto air-con.

They're the same - the manual one has a knob to turn to direct the air, not a digital display.

I don't know for sure, but I would think they are interchangeable - same shape/size and same functions

They are both auto air con but don't know anything about fitting or wiring
