R53 JCW Backbox Fitting - Kent/SE London?

Hi Guys, Do you know anyone who can fit a JCW Backbox I purchased onto my R53 Mini in Kent or SE London? I'm in Bromley.

Firstly, the JCW has 2 back-boxes leading to 2 separate exhaust outlets, you do have both don't you? I ask because you refer to it in the singular.

Secondly any garage or fast-fit centre should be able to do that, it will require minimal fabrication/alteration, although a local mini specialist would probably find it easier, do you have one near you?

Hi Yes, have both back boxes, wasn't sure if any welding would be done to attach it to the original exhaust centre pipe but it probably is just cutting off the standard backbox and sliding this one on as it has a slightly wider end....if its straight forward then I can find someone local but if there's a specialist that anyone knows that would be preferable.

it may have two but they're in one piece

buy the correct centre section for it and the correct joint sleeve

cheers, I was going to have the JCW box fitted to the standard centre pipe by having the standard backbox cut off, but decided to buy the JCW centre section instead. Should be a straight forward job now, might even do it myself

Sounds like you've sorted the JCW exhaust. As you are in Bromley, if you need any other goodies, help, advice or work carried out for extremely reasonable money, try Steve at The S works in Tonbridge. He pretty much just deals with R53s. Good guy, does everything for me on my 2005 R53.
