Bought a Cooper D Clubman yesterday as a second car. I've got to say though, what a cracking little engine. When did small capacity diesels become so refined?

Obviously its very different to the 35D engine in our X3, but it felt very smooth and quiet in the car. I guess a lot of that is down to how much the Mini platforms have come on since the early days.

Brand new one? I’ve got a 2014 Gen 2 Clubman Cooper D as a daily and rate it highly. Frugal and easy to drive in the motorway, pointy and fun on a B road.

Its a March 2017 '17' car, 11900 miles. In lovely condition (unsurprisingly). Usual stuff like Chilli Pack, but also full leather, PDC, Comfort Access, Media XL and heated front seats.

Yeah that's the F series you have there fantastic diesels! Really great on the motorways too.
I've saved so much money in the last six month on fuel because of this great machine.

I've got the adjustable dampers and it makes it fun in sport mode.

Heated seats are amazing this time of year!
I love mini connected XL too !

Looking forward to the weather getting better so I can wash it

We've got a 2012 Cooper D Olympic one and when we were looking to buy one of them I drove back to back a diesel and a petrol - the diesel engine went like a rocket and was so much better than the petrol one I thought - so we went for the diesel.

Has the petrol one caught up at all s- will I think the diesel is far better again if I were to drive the two latest ones back to back?
