Haha, best way really ;O)
You don't need one of the known specialists to tell you what to do, read up and check on model specific forums, then do it yourself or just use a local to get the worst bits that you can't do done maybe?
How hard can it be , he saysYou don't need one of the known specialists to tell you what to do, read up and check on model specific forums, then do it yourself or just use a local to get the worst bits that you can't do done maybe?

well be careful what you take from them all, but there are a few. I waste a fair bit of my life on Mini Torque I guess, there's Torque Mini, and Mini2 which was ok but the site is so 'busy' with ads it hurts to read it haha, and Track Mini.
MT is full of abuse but not much is meant by it, and all some want to do is fit coilovers haha, so expect to be told to do that and beware of some other copycat style mods, but there is a lot of good info. Just introduce yourself before asking for help perhaps.
You need to just read around elsewhere too sometimes for a bit of a sense check I would say. With forums that are sponsored, you'll quickly discover you'll be guided to certain shops for stuff by supporters/fans. Same with mechanical work, the same names come up as being the best when the hard truth is that many mechanical jobs are simple and all sorts of workshops can achieve the same results. Products too can be worth searching for elsewhere.

Ah, coilovers, the handling is good enough for me without going down that route yet again, all I want to do (he says), is, get rid of the run flats and drop down to 16" rims with decent rubber and up the power to 210-220ish, that will be an exhaust, intake mods, charger pulley, then a decent set of pads say Mintex 1144s or Ferodo DS2500 definately not green stuff, so, not a great deal of stuff to do really, but I suppose that still adds up to a couple of grand though if not more.
Any thoughts?
