Mini 2008 1.6 Cooper Boot Problem

Hi Guys,

Ok so I need your help, I have a 2008 Mini Cooper 1.6, and all of a sudden I cannot open the boot manually by handle or with the key fob!?.

I have checked fuses etc and they all are ok, however when locking the car with the keyfob it sounds like there isn't any locking movement in the boot as if the system is dead?!

Any ideas!!

My first Cooper 1.6 had the same problem....BMW tried to fix it...it then rattled like buggery.....so with that fault and numerous others it went....but that was on one of the first ones....I would have thought these issues would have been sorted by the 2008 ones...good luck
