Hi Guys,

You'll probably crucify me for this but I use my phone as sat nav and media player, so am wondering if any of you have any specific recommendations for phone holders on either side of the big speedo (so the aux/power cable connects still)???

To add difficulty I use a 7+ so its quite a big phone and preferably for one of the air con vents - or any other suggestion, I think the windscreen is a bad idea as the ride is quite firm.

Would appreciate some genuine responses even though I am probably due some abuse

Cravenspeed do one that attaches behind the dials and positions your phone next to them. Its on the Lohen website, 60-80 quid IIRC.

Comes with power cable that you can wire into the car as well, saves running cables to the usb port.

Brodit do a mounting plate that fits next to the speedo

You then match it with a phone holder and screw the two together at home

The Brodit stuff is very well made, I’ve just bought one for our R55 clubman to mount a Bury CC9060 Bluetooth kit. The mount was about £18 which I thought was good value.

Haha - I do exactly the same and use a "quad lock" bike mount to connect my 7+ to the handbrake lever.

Solid and works perfectly.
