2018 year model looks to be big bag of mixed versions.
1) 2017 July ~ October production model. (Non LCI but MY18 models)
2) 2017 November~ production model (Non LCI with new 8 speed A/T as MY18 models)
3) 2018 March~ production model (LCI with DCT as MY18 models)
I was planning on getting a JCW but by reading the article, I guess I'll have to go with the March 2018 production version S model, New colors, new transmission, new infotainment, new backlight/frontlight, new Mini logo, integration of Amazon's Alexa, etc.
Wow. Too many variations of the 2018 models. Never saw Mini do such a wide mix changes of versions for an yearly model.

I like the fact that the DRL will go all the way around on the newer model, I think the DRL on my 2017 Cooper S look pretty pants to be honest, and they should have been like that from the outset, also pleased they've changed the front and rear lights too because the current ones are just downright ugly for me.
