R53 oil cooler
Discussion
I am just looking into whether it will be worth fitting an oil cooler to my (to be tracked) R53.
I absolutely understand the benefits but looking at the current set up, there is an oil/water heat exchanger (if a little thing!) that will need either by-passing or the water in/outlet blocking off.
Does anyone know which it will be block off or bypass?

Fitting one is a good idea
If you have no oil temp gauge currently you'll have no idea how hot the oil gets with the standard oil cooler, and it gets very hot quickly,
You can remove the steel coolant lines to it completely, the Mocal kit comes with a pipe to join the hoses if you want, or do it another way.
