Picked up this '55 Mini Cooper in my favourite colour combo as a stop gap car to replace my old Volvo V70! But it's tight as a nut and not bad for 12 years and 117k... but is it lowered? No mention of it but it sits very well for something standard:

Rear looks a little down on standard, front less easy to tell, maybe not.

Could also be a final coil broken on the rear springs, or even "sports plus suspension".

Have you checked the vin online to see if it has "sports plus"?

Just checked the VIN and yeah it lists Sports suspension plus (and it has the chilli pack) so maybe it's a touch lower.

My main car is a Nissan Leaf so I'm actually enjoying the contrast between soft and quiet EV and bouncy hard rough petrol!

Bad news today though: what I hoped would be a re-gas turned out to be a buggered air con compressor and pipes so I need to source a replacement unit pronto - safe to source an eBay compressor and pipes?

It's definitely lower than standard IMO, even with SS+
