Oil Specifications R56 Cooper S 2012 N18

Hi, wonder if anyone can enlighten me please.

Need to sort out some oil for sons car, as above.

The manual says BMW Longlife 01, 01FE or 04.

Where not available alternative specs of ACEA A3/B4 are specified.

I know that Castrol Edge is the recommended oil, but the LL04 Edge only specifies ACEA C3 (which is the alternative spec for diesels - not petrols).

Does an oil meeting LL04 also need to meet ACEA A3/B4?

Or can anyone point me to the exact Castrol Edge oil I need.

I miss the days when you only needed the weight of an oil and chose your preferred brand!
