Custom HIDs Kit different colours

I've recently bought a second hand Mini Cooper s 2003. After buying the car i realised the dipped beam head lights we different colours (one white one yellow). My local garage told me that the head lights had a custom HID kit on them and that the bulbs were different colours. I have tried swapping over the bulbs and used what i thought was the white bulb in the yellow lamp but the colour remained yellow rulling out the bulbs as the issue. This means the issue must be with the lamps and maybe they are different in some way.

Does anyone have experience of this and if not can you recommend somewhere that specialises in HID conversions (South London Ideally) i can get this looked at that won't cost a fortune?

Could it be that there's an incandescent bulb in there for the headlight flash and that's what you're seeing?

Thanks for the reply. Does the headlight flash use a different bulb, if so how do i get to it?
