Knocking Noise from rear 2009 Cooper S Cabriolet

Have a 2009 Mini Copper S Cabriolet which has developed a constant knocking noise from rear when driving. I have had it checked out by our local garage who have said rear suspension and bushes are ok, apparently it has a few clips missing round the fuel tank and said it could be that????
Any advise/help would be appreciated as its now driving me mental!

It sounds like you probably need to address the missing clips around the fuel tank first and go from there.

Rear anti roll bar bushes - almost guarenteed - you won't feel any play in the bar on a ramp unless it's the type of ramp which keeps all the suspension loaded up - like a four poster ramp. Only cost a few quid and can be changed in about twenty minutes with rear wheels off
