Mini Cooper works brakes.... newbie help!!

Can someone help a newby... looking at Cooper works... some come with the red callipers some Dont.... a late 2007 works we have seen hasn't got them but some earlier ones do... was it standard on the older models but an upgrade on the newer ones or has it always been an upgrade to the works ? Thanks !!

I assume you are talking about a Cooper S works, as you dont get a copper works mini.

As far as I am know they all come with red calipers as standard.

If this is 2007 this must be R56? In which case there was a dealer-fit JCW kit for the S, 192bhp IIRC, and the factory JCW with 211 or something.

The factory JCWs have the red 4-pot Brembo brakes, the dealer ones didn't (could be changed retrospectively though)

Hi, yes it's. 57 plate :-) I just can't see the red brakes on the photos! Thank you for your help, it's a minefield!!!!
