Knocking noise

Hi everyone,
I've got a bit of a problem here.
It's a 2012 R58 Mini cooper S with 19,000 miles
I've got a knocking noise coming from the engine bay. you can also feel it through de accelerator pedal.
It's only there under mild acceleration
For instance, if you're driving 50-55 mph and your just giving enough throttle to maintain that speed.
If you put your foot down, it's gone. If you brake, it's gone as well.
I've already changed to top engine mount and it's a little bit better but it's still there.
The drive shafts have crossed my mind, but that sounds near impossible on 19,000mile car…
Any thoughts?
