I'm thinking of getting the 'One Ball' mod done on my R52 Cooper S convertible....
Questions:
Does it sounds as sweet as the You Tube clips?
Where did you get up done?
How much did it cost?
Any down sides to the mod?

They sound awful, sorry, very tinny.

The standard system isn't as restrictive as some claim really

GTT do a bypass pipe which is about £80

I bought a Cooper 2.5" cat back with 3" exit, and correct rear trims to convert mine to a side exit which sounded better on the outside than a one ball, but a bit boomy inside, but good overall. Unfortunately I wanted to remove the cat too and it was really too loud, so it's been removed now. I found a mint standard one piece catback which went back on for now, and handles 250chp fine.
