Hi all I have a MK1 GP would like to widen track and bring tyres to edge of arch it has been lowered would 5" hub central spacers work or does any no the ideal size or is it a bad idea regard

Personally I'd get some wheels with the correct offset to fill the arches rather than spacers, something like et35 on a 7.5 rim does the job.

Thanks for that Rigga makes sense want to keep original wheels would the spacers make a difference

Spacers will move the edge of the rim into the position you require, and hubcentric one's would be a better choice, I just don't like them as its a fudge to a correct solution.

Hi Rigga you are right I have put on some 5m spacers made a little differance to the look of the car but I agree not ideal to go about it thanks mate regards
