5" hub central spacers?
Discussion
If you dont happen to have a spare £1800 for new wheels and tyres then you can use spacers if you want. I've just fitted some 13mm spacers which I bought from 1320 mini The size you get depends on the ET of your current wheel and how much wider you want to go. If you don't know the ET of your wheel then it should be stamped on the inside.

My current wheels are ET48 and didn't leave much clearance for the callipers.
Don't forget you'll need longer wheel bolts. The ones sent from 1320 are chrome and my wheels are dark so my OCD went into overdrive and I've now sprayed them with black stove paint

I had the JCW R95 alloys on my R53 (with JCW suspension - same as the GP). I fitted 13mm spacers, and the extra unsprung weight on already big & heavy alloys really ruined the ride quality.
IMO keep the OEM 18s in the garage, and source some aftermarket 17s - for example Rota wheels come in decent offsets & aren't too expensive. 17s = cheaper tyres and better ride/handling, win win
